Plotter Repair FAQ

What warranty do you offer on plotter repair?

All of our plotter repair services come with a 120 day warranty on parts and labour.

What is your typical turnaround time on plotter repair?

Once a plotter repair is authorized we see a typical 1-2 business day completion and testing time on a repair. If a plotter part is required which is not in our vast in-house stock of parts, up to 3 business days can be added to the repair time as we need to order the needed part(s).

What kind of plotter repairs can you perform?

Since we are able to perform board level repairs on plotters and have access to new parts from all of the manufacturers, there aren´t many problems we cannot resolve. Some common problems we encounter and repair each day are errors on the screen, carriage belt and trailing cable replacements, power issues or no power at all, for example.

How to transport your plotter.

  1. Always shut down the plotter by the standby or power button.
  2. Unplug all of the cables and unscrew the stand (if applicable).
  3. Remove the ink cartridges and tape all of the covers shut to the case.
  4. Pack using original packaging whenever possible, if not available than use bubble wrap.
